I've spent so much of my life trying to mold myself into "perfection" that I didn't take the time to actually appreciate everything that I am. oh my!

Okay... so after deciding that the ring I originally picked out was WAY too expensive, I told A there was no way that I could feel good about having a ring that cost that much.
So I quit looking for a while... so I could get that ring out of my mind and start on a clean slate & OH MY GOODNESS... I finally found the PERFECT ring!

Isn't this most interesting & spectacular ring ever! It looks like it's made for a princess... and well... uhhh... since I am one... it's PERFECT for me (:
Its so different than everything that I've been looking at. I never thought I'd fall in love with something thats not a Verragio... but uhm I definitely change my mind

I'm not sure if this one is in the same price rang as the other ring... or it may even be more expensive. But this Cathy Waterman ring NEEDS to be on my finger! :D

Jinxy went back to the vet for a check up, and he got put on another week's worth of antibiotics for his upper resprtory infection. We spend so much money on this little kitty, but really, he's worth every single penny! (:

oh & we have had success in the home... Jinx & Bryndle are actually getting along! I never thought I'd see the day. It sure took a while for us to get here & I'm so relieved! Seeing them play reminds me of my little brother & I lol Bryndle is a snobby princess & Jinx does annoying little things to piss her off like randomly walking up to her and slapping her in the face for NO reason lol geeeze (:

Romantic Getaway

Last night, A & I planned a romantic getaway to,
Howe Caverns 

 We're getting the sweetheart package which includes:
-a beautiful room & view
-flowers, chocolates & champagne for two waiting in the room (:
-a lantern tour of the caverns (which includes a romantic boat ride through the underground caves) 
This is definitely going to be one memorable trip!

We haven't fully decided when we're going yet. It depends on A's work schedule. But we're shooting for sometime in late September-early October. <3 Have I mentioned that I LOVE THIS MAN?? (:

life lately.

sorry I haven't been around lately... I've just been an observer for the most part.

But just so all you lovely folks know, I'm alive & well (:

--a little kitty talk

Jinxy is probably the BEST cat ever! (: How can you not
fall in love with the furball?? :D

Things at home have been a bit hectic lately with the cats. <----- notice that is plural?? Yeah, we got another cat & it was probably the WORST idea ever. She doesn't like Jinxy, she wont leave the room & she meows ALL night long. The previous owner didn't leave me any contact information & called me only from a restricted number... so I have no way to get a hold of her. I dont know if we're going to keep her... but I dont want to just dump her off at a shelter. She's a loving cat... she's just so confused about whats going on right now. A. doesn't want to give her up, but if I can find her home, she's g.o.n.e.
But on another note, Jinxy is so great! He had a vet  visit last week & got all of his meds to get better(: Such a good kitty!

--on the homefront

A. has been as loving & thoughtful as always. He brought a big bouquet of yellow daisies home for me this past Friday. It was a delightful surprise :D
He knows I love putting flowers in the little window between the kitchen & living room (:

--crafting days

I've been Crafting here & there... nothing too special. I made some handmade paper bags yesterday. I'm planning on putting the crafts that I sell in them. I  might try to make some homemade beads today.... and then use those to start my beaded jewelry crafts. (:
I'm also going to refashion some flip flops for my mommy (: I just need to find an Old Navy around here.... hmmmm.
oh & my bff has been crafting quite a bit lately as well. It makes me feel happy to know we're both doing the same thing even though we're thousands of miles apart. I miss her.

On a side note...

I think I spend too much time looking on the past & not enough in the moment or in the future. There are so many things built up inside of me from the last year of my life (before A) and I want to let it ALL go. I want to find the Sam that once smiled so big, it brightened the entire world. I dont really know where all of my positive energy went... but I'm on a mission to find it again. My life is so wonderful (: & I wouldn't have it other way (Well maybe a bridge from here to Florida so I could see my dearly missed friends & family)

A & I adopted a little fluffy man! (:

This is Jinx (:

He's almost 1, he's declawed in the front, neutered & up to date on all of his shots. 

 

 We didn't want to change his name because he responds to it. Of course I dress it up every now & then like, Little Jinxy Man... or Jinxy Ki-taayyy!  (:

His previous owners practically handed him over & didn't really care. They had gotten a new kitten (short hair) because the girl was allergic to him & his long hair. He's really well behaved though. He's super cuddly & follows us everywhere. He loves playing & he sleeps with us at night.

We bought him tons of toys but for some reason he's more entertained with playing with my hair ties. lol
