-Most of you know that 2 months ago, I moved over a thousand miles away from "home". I left my friends, my family, and all of my belongings behind to start a new chapter of my life.
Well, I'm not the social butterfly that I used to be, so I haven't really made any new friends. And ever since I graduated, I haven't been able to do any art work (which is crazy because my major is art). I think I just had lack of inspiration combined with the reality of having to grow up. Point is, I just haven't completely been "ME" for a while.
BUT!
that has all changed! :D
Earlier this week I was introduced to a little website called, Pinterest (from Sunlight After Rain). & well, lets just say it sparked my inner artist agian! :D I spent the end of the week glued to the site & making up ideas of projects, crafts & paintings that I can do for the apartment! :D
I went to the Dollar Store, Michaels, and Walmart. (best places for crafts!) and completely stocked up (:
ALSO
One of my friends who is a Navy wife just moved here at the beginning of the week :D She lives about 20 minutes away which isn't TOO bad. We double dated with our sailors on Friday night and it felt so refreshing to get out & socialize again. We ate at a cute little diner close to base & then went & played some mini golf :D (I was horrible of course.... mostly because I think my body was under the impression we were playing softball) It was an awesome night to say the least.
I'm glad I'm finally back in the real world <3
