Well, for those of you who don't exactly know me... here's a bit of who of I am

I am...

An artist

Growing up, I've always been a crafty. It was just something that came natural to me. I didn't know how much I truly loved art until high school, and by my senior year, I was taking AP Art (:

I love anything from painting, to sculpting... paper mache to diy crafts. If it's art related, I LOVE IT.

A dancer

I've been dancing since I was 2 years old. I attended Debbie Sichol School of Dance as a child. After elementary school, I began cheerleading. I loved the stunts and tumbling... but I always missed the way my body felt dancing. In high school, I ditched the pompoms, for a spot on the dance team, Imperialettes. My first year, we won first place at state and became the AAA State Champions (:
I became the inaugural color guard captain of a new school for my last two years of high school. And I also choregraphed a show that won an overall "superior" rating at a competition.
Dancing has always been a huge part of my life, and will forever be. 

A theatre nerd

For as long as I can remember, I've been performing. Whether it be singing into my hairbrush, or in a sold out show, I'm doing it. I've always loved the stage... and being in the spotlight lol

I've preformed in shows & musicals
I've directed and also choreographed
& I've picked quite a few awards along the way lol ;)
In high school, I was President of the Theatre Department and also the Thespian President. Basically, my life revolved around theatre lol

Something about being on stage brightens my world.

An animal lover

Well, I think its safe to say, most people love some kind of animal lol (: Well I happen to love just about any animal possible lol I remember at one point in my life, we had 22 cats, 12 dogs & a hampster... at ONCE. (I lived on a farmland lol) And I've just always been around animals. I had a iguana named, Havoc and he was the LOVE of my life. He ended up passing away and it completely devastated me. It took a while for me to be able to have a pet of my own again... but now Alex & I have 2 cats, Jinx & EllieBell (: and I blog about them a ton!

A best friend

I honestly dont think I could have survived life without these two ladies pictured above. On the Left is Katie. She has been my best friend sister for about 13 years now. We grew up down the street from one another until high school when she moved to VA. We've always kept in touch no matter what though... and now as she currently lives in FRANCE! (: I'm very proud of the wonderful lady she has become.
On the right is, Ashlyn. And she is my other half! We've been best friends for 5 years and we've been through more than anyone could imagine. I tell her every detail about my life and shes understands me more than anyone. It's hard living so far away from her, but we talk every single day! She is truly more than a best friend, I consider her a sister. She has a strong head on her shoulders and she's on her way to an amazing future.
Bottom line, these beautiful ladies are my family... and I'd be lost without them.

A sister

Oh my... where do I start. This is my little baby brother. He is certainly quite a character. I think he has spent 80% of my life annoying the crap out of me... but thats what he's for... right? lol
There's not many people I would give my life for... but this guy right here... yeah... I'd die for him. William John is seriously one of the most important people in my life. It's hard to grasp the concept that he's growing up.. because to me, he's still just my baby brother. But now he's a talented musician and such a good guy... and I miss him more than I can describe. I love this little booger!

A Navy Sweetheart

I honestly swore that I would NEVER date someone in the military. I didn't want to have to go through periods of my life missing & worrying about my significant other. I know... silly. But it just seemed like heartbreak that I could avoid.
Well of course... I end up marrying a United States Navy Nuke. Go me! lol (:
I'm incomplete without Alex Taylor. And though I haven't gone through deployment yet, I know that now measure of distance could ever divide us. (:
I'm not very fond of the Navy sometimes... but at the end of the day, I'm proud to be a "Navy Sweetheart".

A traveler

My feet have never been fully grounded. I was born to travel this world. As soon as I was old enough to understand "travel"... its what I've wanted to do. I've been to so many places in my lifetime. I've been Up and Down the east coast many many times. I took a road trip from Florida to California and back. I've snorkeled in the Gulf and even explored Mexico.
I love going to new places and trying new things...
As long as I always have a home to come to <3

A Lupus Fighter

I struggled my of my life with being ill... and the doctors could never pinpoint what exactly was wrong with me. By my sophomore year of high school, I became extremely sick, causing me to miss two years of school. We've spent years and years searching for answers... and finally in October of 2010, I was diagnosed with Lupus.
It's been a roller coaster, but I'm a fighter... it's all I've ever known. There are some pretty rough days, but I make through. And if anything, it's allowed me to discover the importance of life.
