July 4th (:
So, the 4th of July 4 mile race was a lot of fun (:
After multiple problems that happen throughout the day (which included, my sun allergy, and my Lupus acting up really bad) A. decided it would be smart & safe for me to drop out of the race.
I didn't actually mind because there ended up being over 2,300 people signed up just for the race! D: CRAZY!
A, Jamie & Levi still ran the dreadful 4 miles & little miss Jamie smoked 'em! (: woo hooo!
By time the race was over, we ate at this cute little diner we've been going to & watched a hotdog eating contest... EW.
& unfortunately I got a little TOO much sun for my body to handle... so I started getting weak and tired.
A & I decided to head back to our house to shower & freshen up. The plan was to meet up with the couple for fireworks later on... but because of rain & the fact that we were BEYOND tired.. that never happened. Turns out, we all just watched movies & relaxed lol But we still decided that it was a pretty perfect day.
Crafting time!
I'm ADDICTED to crafting at the moment. I have so many ideas its ridiculous!
I've been getting into paper mache & yarn sculptures. I'm currently making a 7ft yarn sculpture of a cherry blossom branch that will hang in the living room. (: It's been drying for 3 days & tomorrow I will add the final lay of paste before adding the flowers.
Some other things on the crafting list will be, a yarn (vintage) bird cage, a mason jar & canvas (hanging) flower display, A mesh/tulle divider curtain, a crystal beaded umbrella chandelier, & a doily light for the middle of the bedroom canopy. (:
I'll post pictures as I finish each project :D

ReplyDeletehahaha its going to be HUGE :P so idk it its even sendable. I'll play around with the idea & see if I can make a smaller one that I can send (: Since its made out of yarn, its super fragile.
